# Demucs (open-source audio and music app)

> Demucs is a free, open-source audio and music app for Windows, macOS and Linux. Code for the paper Hybrid Spectrogram and Waveform Source Separation. It has 3,307 GitHub stars and is released under the MIT license. Its source code is on GitHub at adefossez/demucs.

This is the officially maintained Demucs now that I (Alexandre Défossez) have left Meta to join Kyutai. Note that I'm not actively working on Demucs anymore, so expect slow replies and no new feature for now.
