# Kaset (open-source media player)

> Kaset is a free, open-source media player for macOS. The missing YouTube and YouTube Music macOS app. It has 2,362 GitHub stars and is released under the MIT license. Its source code is on GitHub at sozercan/kaset.

A native macOS client for YouTube Music and YouTube, built with Swift and SwiftUI. Kaset isn't signed or notarized by Apple, so the first time you open it, macOS shows a warning that the app can't be verified. This is expected. Use one of the options below to allow it. You only need to do this once.
