# Emilia Protocol (MCP server)

> Emilia Protocol is an MCP server that adds finance tools to AI assistants such as Claude Desktop, Claude Code and Cursor. Exact-action approval for consequential agent actions: request, track, and verify signed receipts. It has 612 GitHub stars, is released under the Apache-2.0 license and runs locally with npx -y @emilia-protocol/mcp-server.

An agent prepares an $82,000 supplier payment. Someone approves it. Then the amount or bank destination changes. The earlier approval must not release the changed payment.
